Raising Rebels.

So, why Penguins? Because it's my middle boys FAVOURITE animal and when he was small he gave us all nicknames, Mama Penguin, Daddy Penguin, Sir Penguin, THE Penguin and Princess Penguin. It became our thing and to this day we use them.

Daddy Penguin: Computer nerd, tea drainer, general fixer-upper of everything, general awesome Daddy and man who keeps the Penguin house running with all these diverse brains!

Mama Penguin: That's me!! Knitting, crochet, swimming, gym, reading, neurodiverse, anxiety-ridden, pink hair, geeky, history nerd, yoga, meditation, journals, and specific tea's!

Sir Penguin: 15, Star Wars, Lego, Bad guys, Marvel and DC, a little introvert who needs his routine. Autistic, Speech Disorders, CVS, and various other issues.

THE Penguin: 13, The one and only! High IQ, brainbox, chatterbox, outgoing, loud, like LOUD, funny, silly, sweet. Supremely medically and mentally complex and knows everything, ever, you don't! Math, books, and Science!!! Autistic, Rare ADHD type, OCD, Speech disorders, Tourettes, C-PTSD and lots and lots (Seriously 2 pages)

Princess Penguin: 10, Smallest of us all, sweet, stroppy as only tweens can be, friendly, social, musicals, Anne of Green Gables, Dolls, Sufferage, female empowerment, Gymnast. Recently diagnosed Autistic, anxiety alllllll the time.

So why rebels? Because we refuse to bow down to a neurotypical world, we live life loud, fast, on our own terms and in our own way.
Princess P having a tough sensory day, Ahh wear ya PJ's, The Penguin screaming about stuff, yeah OK, just turn it down.
Sir P goes to the local to us SEN school, (well, when the world isn't in the middle of the apocalypse) Penguin and Princess are Home educated. Mama and Daddy just try and keep up!

So this is our lives, it's not typical, but that's boring!
